POLICY STATEMENT:

CMP Pharma requires that all returns must be authorized and accompanied by a CMP Pharma Return Merchandise Authorization. All returns are subject to prior approval. Exceptions in trading partner contracts or as otherwise required by regulation or law may supersede the policy. Such superseding terms shall only supersede this policy to the extent that the terms directly conflict. If credit is earned it will be given based on the WAC price paid at the time the product was originally purchased from CMP Pharma.

RETURNABLE ITEMS:

  • CMP Pharma will only accept returns from customers who have purchased the products directly from CMP Pharma.  If the product was not purchased directly from CMP Pharma, please contact your wholesaler or distributor.
  • Products that are not more than 12 months past expiration date.
  • Products received in error or damaged in shipping (accompanied by signed bill of lading noting damage) if reported to CMP Pharma customer service department within 5 days of receipt and returned within fifteen (15) days.
  • Concealed damage claims made within ten (10) days of receipt and returned within fifteen (15) days.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS: (No credit, unless otherwise required by regulation or law.  Products will be destroyed and zero credit will be issued.)

  • Returns of excess inventory resulting from inadequate customer inventory controls.
  • Products with lot numbers or expiration date that are missing, covered, removed or unreadable.
  • Products damaged while not in CMP’s possession. For examples, product damaged while in the customer’s possession at warehouse or store level.
  • Products returned without approved authorization.
  • Products damaged or deteriorated due to conditions beyond manufacturer control, such as improper storage or handling. Examples of improper storage or handling include exposure to heat, storage under improper conditions, or exposure to fire, smoke, or water.
  • OTC items will not be given credit unless it is from a sales order which was shipped in error or was damaged in transit.
  • Partial product and product not in sealed original (saleable unit) container.
  • Products which are more than 12 months past the expiration date.

PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING DAMAGED OR MIS-SHIPPED MERCHANDISE:

  1. Contact CMP Pharma Logistics department in writing within five (5) business days of product receipt to [email protected].
  2. Please include:
    1. Original Purchase Order
    2. National Drug Code (NDC)
    3. Quantity affected
    4. Lot number and expiration date of the product involved
    5. Brief explanation of the incident
    6. Photo evidence (if applicable) of the product

PROCEDURE FOR RETURNING EXPIRED/MORGUE MERCHANDISE:

A Returns Representative will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and provide additional details/ documents necessary to return the products to CMP Pharma. CMP Pharma will allow trading partners to use a third-party reverse distributor of choice.

  1. REQUESTING A RETURN
    Email your debit memo to [email protected]  Be sure to include the following:

    1. Account Name, Address, and DEA Number
    2. Wholesaler Name, Address, and DEA Number
    3. Name of item(s), NDC #(s), Quantity, Lot Number(s), and Expiration Date(s)
    4. Reason for Return
    5. Debit Memo Number
    6. Requested Return Value

  1. RETURNING MERCHANDISE
    Upon receipt of a Return Authorization, place the RMA inside packaging and RMA # outside of the packaging. Returns are to be sent to CMP Pharma at the following address:

TRANSPORTATION:

Transportation and insurance charges on all returned merchandise are the responsibility of the customer except when due to an error on the part of CMP Pharma, as determined by CMP Pharma.

TERMS OF RETURN POLICY:

  • All returns will be in the form of an account credit memo, no cash returns.
  • Credit will be extended at the original WAC purchase price.
  • The shipping carton must show the Return Authorization Number or a UPS call tag and be marked “Returns”.
  • CMP Pharma reserves the right to destroy, without recourse, all unauthorized merchandise returned.
